Named for the natural light phenomenon aurora borealis, AB is a framework for green and purple light to interact with each other in a perceived, abstracted horizon. Composed of LED light strips, each individual diode is considered when creating its composition, so that the optimal proportion and push-and-pull effect of the colored light is achieved. In this composition, the purple, vertical bands are cropped at the intersection points so as to allow the green light to pass through the full length of the piece uninterrupted—only interacted with.
